Atticus Friday, Mike Horn’s sworn enemy, is preparing to build Atticus’ Paradise in the heart of the Californian desert, a gigantic leisure complex with an amusement park, an artificial pond and a ski-dome. The project would be an ecological disaster. The wealthy businessman is prepared to abandon the project if, and only if, the Adventurers manage to find an endangered animal on each of the five continents within eight days. Nouria, Yon and Jules don’t have a second to lose: this mission could well be the most difficult in the club’s history!
