We sailed into New York at midnight, Lady Liberty stood out behind the black thunder clouds in full glory. With the city covered in fog and very little boats around, it felt like an abandoned city.
Will it be like this one day when the ocean levels start rising?
After an amazing few days in Annapolis and Baltimore, Pangaea returns to New York for more events and meetings. This time Mike and is crew have a helping hand as ten Young Explorers are now on board, hitching a lift back to New York. Who wouldn't want to take advantage of this amazing opportunity to sail on Pangaea?
How can you discover new land if you never leave home? The more you see and do, the more you learn. We are living in an amazing period in time. Let's conserve what we have received from the previous generation and learn from the mistakes we have made.

It took us just 2 hours to sail from Annapolis to Baltimore. We are moored in front of the National Aquarium and the boat will be open for public visit today.
The Pangaea project is growing bigger and bigger and to see the impact that the youth make in conserving the environment gives us hope where their once was despair.
We need more people to join hands and give back what they have taken from the earth to conserve the planet for the future generations.
Another hop and a skip and Pangaea is now in Balitimore after a 2 hour sail from Anapolis.Once again events and presentations are scheduled for both Mike and the YEPs during the teams brief stay in this beautiful city.
We arrived safely in Annapolis this afternoon after a 23 hour sail from New York. It is a beautiful place with lush vegetation and friendly people. Tomorrow we start our work with presentations, boat visits as well as tree planting and cleanup programs. Cannot wait for it to start!
On the 5th of October Pangaea leaves the beautiful North Cove Marina in downtown New York and starts her journey south. At 8 am local time on the 6th of October Pangaea sails down the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal. Just another 50Nautical miles and Pangaea will arrive at Annapolis, the capital of the US State of Maryland.
