When life doesn't go according to your plan, stop, look again, because you might not have seen the bigger picture.
It has been smooth sailing for Mike and crew on board Pangaea as they pass the tip of the boot of mainlad Italy and head towards Olbio in Sardinia.
I will never accept losing, but I can live with it. What I can not live with is losing knowing I did not try my best!
Mike Horn and his crew head towards Italy. The temperatures are cooling down the further they travel north and they are encountering some squalls with rain and strong winds. Its great to be back in the Med says MIke.
Pangaea and her crew are forced to seek shelter from a angry storm that 'came up from nowhere'. They are now on the western side of Crete waiting for the storm to subside.
Only another 13 Nautical Miles to go and Pangaea will leave the Suez Canal and will once again be in the Mediterrean Sea. This marks a huge mile-stone for Mike Horn, and Pangaea's crew. "We are back in the Med after fours years of expedition and are on our way back home."
Money come's and go's! So does the sun, but we will have the sun forever.
16th November – Pangaea stops at Suez, Egypt, and finalises all the paper work for the traverse of the Suez Canal.
Early morning on the 15th of January Mike and hs crew leave the city of Hurghada and sail Pangaea up the Gulf of Suez towards the Suez Canal.
